This Powder Cannot Wipe Away Cataracts in Two Minutes: What You Should Know About Cloudy Vision

What Science Actually Supports for Eye Health
There is a reason eye-health researchers keep talking about nutrition and lifestyle. Over time, oxidative stress can damage lens proteins, so scientists study antioxidants and protective habits as ways to support the eyes overall. But that is very different from claiming a supplement or powder can reverse an existing cataract.

Some studies suggest that diets rich in certain vitamins and plant pigments may be associated with lower cataract risk or slower progression in some people. That does not mean they erase cloudiness that is already there. It means they may support healthier eyes over the long term.

Foods often discussed in eye-health research include:

Dark leafy greens such as spinach, kale, and Swiss chard
Citrus fruits, strawberries, and guava
Nuts, seeds, and plant oils
Other habits with stronger support include wearing UV-blocking sunglasses, not smoking, and keeping blood sugar and blood pressure well managed when those conditions apply. Regular dilated eye exams also matter because they show how the lens is changing over time.
