MY HUSBAND FILED FOR DIVORCE. THEN MY SON ASKED THE JUDGE, "CAN I SHOW YOU SOMETHING DAD DOESN'T KNOW I RECORDED?" THE MOMENT THE VIDEO PLAYED, THE ENTIRE COURTROOM WENT DEAD SILENT.
Sabrina Kane met Desmond at twenty-six. Both of them working at the same downtown accounting firm in Thornfield. Though in very different roles.
She'd started at the firm straight out of graduate school, quickly earning a reputation for catching discrepancies other auditors routinely missed, a talent that came from genuine fascination rather than simple diligence. Desmond noticed her during a company retreat. Drawn initially to a confidence she carried without ever seeming to seek attention for it. Something he later admitted he found more compelling than anyone else in the building.
