The evidence then accumulates at full speed. The photographs supposed to show Emily's infidelity? Crude montages. The witness who had accused her? Paid to lie. Bank transfers mysteriously evaporated? Hijacked via accounts linked to Ashley's brother. And the diamond necklace belonging to Michael's mother, found at Emily's house? The surveillance cameras clearly show Ashley slipping it into a drawer of her dresser, just before her alleged "discovery".
